You don't have to be an alum of the SDLA Institute, or a young person to join the SDLA as a member. Membership is open to like-minded San Diegans who are committed to the values of the SDLA.

Members of the SDLA receive a variety of benefits:

• Free application to the SDLA Institute (you must be a member to apply)
• Invitation to members-only events
• Ability to serve on a committee to help with key elements of our organization's activities
• Joining the SDLA pipeline for award nominations and appointments recommendations 
• Knowing you are supporting the next generation of progressive leadership in San Diego
