Folks, we're planning a "just for fun" visit to Tijuana for SDLA Members.

When: October 17, 2015 at 12pm - 7pm

Where: San Ysidro Border Crossing (in front of the McDonald's)
727 E San Ysidro Blvd, San Diego, CA

What: Just for fun! Have a good time, get to know your fellow SDLA Members better. We're using Algo Bien, a tour company based in Tijuana.

Who: This event is exclusive for SDLA Members.

Cost: $81.75 ticket cost covers the $51.75 for travel, food and beer, and a $30 one-year Annual SDLA Membership.

Travel: We will meet at noon on the US side of the San Ysidro border crossing, in front of the McDonalds. It is recommended to travel to the border via the Blue Line trolley. Exit the San Ysidro station. 

What to Bring: Everyone should bring a passport, some spending money, and comfortable shoes. 

The Return: You will need to have a valid passport to return to the US. After the tour concludes around 6 PM, folks have the option be dropped off near the pedestrian border crossing to return to the US. However, some will likely wish to stay in Tijuana for dinner and nightlife, and they can return on foot at their leisure. SDLA Board Member Colin Parent will be leading a coalition of the willing to tour a variety of classic Tijuana bars within walking distance from our last stop at Mamut Brewery.
