Folks, we're planning a "just for fun" visit to Tijuana for SDLA community members.

We're using Algo Bien, a tour company based in Tijuana.

When: March 28, 2015 at 12pm - 6pm

Where: San Ysidro Border Crossing (in front of the McDonald's)
727 E San Ysidro Blvd

Who: SDLA Board members, and any significant others they wish to invite (No more than one each please!)

What: Just for fun! Have a good time, get to know your fellow SDLA community members better.

Cost: The $68 ticket cost covers travel in Mexico, along with food and beer throughout the visit. RSVP at the bottom of this page.

Travel: We will meet at noon on the US side of the San Ysidro border crossing, in front of the McDonalds. It is recommended to travel to the border via the Blue Line trolley. Exit the San Ysidro station.

What to Bring: Everyone should bring a passport, some spending money, and comfortable shoes.

The Return: You will need to have a valid passport to return to the US. After the tour concludes around 6 PM, folks have the option be dropped off near the pedestrian border crossing to return to the US. However, some will likely wish to stay in Tijuana for dinner and nightlife, and they can return on foot at their leisure. Colin will be leading a coalition of the willing to tour a variety of classic Tijuana bars within walking distance from our last taco stop.
