Learn about the San Diego Leadership Alliance Institute!
SDLA exists to build a network of progressives with the skills and relationships to provide a focus on equity, equality and justice. SDLA is not just about developing candidates to run for public office. Political change includes elected officials, but it also requires supporters from the business, nonprofit, and other sectors.
SDLA's benchmark program is our leadership Institute that runs January through June ever year. We bring together a diverse group of progressive individuals and provide them the tools needed to become leaders in San Diego.

The SDLA Institute is the organization's flagship program, consisting of skills and relationship building over six-months. We strongly encourage nominations of emerging leaders for the institute, and progressive young professionals in the San Diego region to apply. Applicants MUST be members of SDLA. To become a member, go to https://www.sdleadership.org/membership Applications are due at 11:59 PM on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. Late applications will not be reviewed. Join the San Diego Leadership Alliance for a summer meet-up at a Padres game! We’re heading to Petco Park on August 2 for a 7:10 pm game to cheer on the hometown team against the Colorado Rockies. Bring yourself and bring a friend! Tickets are $45 per person for field level and are on sale now, but only for a limited time. You must purchase your tickets by June 30 so we can lock-in our group seats. REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT IS NOW CLOSED.
